The following notes are a couple of quick reminders for Competitive Cheer teams and judges:

July 15 – First Practice

August 4 – 1st Day Online Cheer Rules Clinic (Judges, All Coaches – head and assistant)

August 18 – Judges Online Training begins

October 1 – Deadline for teams to declare competitive division for KHSAA postseason / Judges Training Ends

October 25 – Dec. 7 – Competitive Cheer Regionals (Region by Region Listing)

Dec. 13 – KHSAA Competitive Cheer State Championships – Alltech Arena, Lexington

2014-15 Competitive Cheer Divisions
All-Girls
Small – Minimum of 6, Maximum of 12
Medium – Minimum of 13, Maximum of 16
Large – Minimum of 17, Maximum of 20
Super-Large – Minimum of 21, Maximum of 24

Coed
Division A – Minimum of 12 and Maximum of 24; 1-3 males
Division B – Minimum of 12 and Maximum of 24; 4 or more males

Remember, beginning in 2014-15, no student below grade 7 may participate at the high school level (Freshmen, JV or Varsity). If a student participated in 2013-14 at the high school level, he/she is grandfathered and therefore is eligible to continue participating at the high school level in that sport/sport-activity.
