Please make sure you have re-reviewed information on the KHSAA website regarding this weekend’s Competitive Cheer State Championships.

While some forecasts call for the potential of weather issues, the Cheer event is scheduled to be conducted with no plans for delay or rescheduling.  If there are any change in plans, the  KHSAA website will be updated accordingly.

Please read the State Instructions and review the time schedule, order of appearance, detailed station-by-station time schedule, parking map, team entry and coaches meeting times.  There were no changes to any of the schedules.

COACHES/TEAM ADMISSION REMINDER
One coach and two assistant coaches will receive a wristband upon checking in at the Team Entrance Gate.  This is the maximum number of coaches that will be admitted as well as permitted back in the warm-up room and on floor when the team competes.  (No additional sound/music people, managers, etc.)

Your squad must enter as a group.  We will admit the total for the squad based upon entry into the division, plus four alternates (Example:  School X is in all-girl medium.  Therefore, we will admit 16 participants, plus 4 alternates for a total of 20 individuals.)

Any other coaches, support staff, choreographers, etc. will have to purchase a ticket and remain in the general admission seating.

Also, when your squad is competing, only the four alternates and three coaches will be permitted on the floor and in the designated coaches viewing/music area (Maximum of 7 individuals).  No additional participants on other squads, support staff, etc. will be able to be on the floor or in the coaching/music viewing area.

GATE ADMISSION
Admission is $10 each – good for the entire day.  Those 10 and under are admitted free of charge.  There is no in/out entry so fans leaving and coming back later in the day will be required to purchase another ticket.

Rafferty’s is the team meal headquarters.  Contact information is located in the State Participation Manual.  Also, Pine Mountain Photography will be on site taking group and individual photos and selling on site.  Photo information is also in the participant manual.  First String Media will be selling DVD copies of the event.  Pre-order forms for DVDs and Championship apparel are on the website.

We look forwarding to seeing everyone in Bowling Green.
