Joe Buck was an amazing athlete who represented East Carter High school with pride. He currently still holds two records for the school in Track and Field. The 1 Mile - 4:23 - 1977 and the 880 Yards - 2:00 - 1977 (Source - Athletic.net). Joe Buck also ran Cross country for East Carter High school and still holds the East Carter record for the 2 Mile - 10:14 - 1977 (Source - Athletic.net)This is a major accomplishment for still holding the records that were set 44 years ago.
