Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mr. Embry led Owensboro to the State Tournament in 1960 and was named to the All-Tournament Team. He was named Mr. Basketball in 1961. In addition to starting in basketball for three years, he also was a baseball starter for the same period which included trips to the State Baseball Tournament in 1960 & 1961. At Daviess Co., Mr. Embry took his baseball team to the Chamionship in 1971. His Owensboro basketball teams won 12 district titles from 1981-1999 and 8 regional titles.
