Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mr. Bealmear began his coaching career in 1965 at his alma mater. He is one of the few coaches in Kentucky history to win state titles at more than one school beginning with an upset victory for Trinity (Louisville) in 1967 and later at Ballard in 1972 & 1975. He has been Cross Country Coach of the Year, President of the State Cross Country and Track Coaches Association and has been inducted into the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Hall of Fame.
