Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mr. Purcell played in his first KHSAA State Tennis Tournament as a 5th grader. In the 7th grade he was the state doubles winner with brother Del. He was the singles runner up his junior year and state singles winner his senior year. Mr. Purcell went on to play on the collegiate and professional levels.
