Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mike Fields has been covering High School Athletics in Kentucky for over 35 years, the last 32 with the Lexington Herald-Leader. Mike covers All sports.....and recognizes young boys' and girls' for their accomplishments on and off the field. The same can be said for coaches, officials and administrators. It is a thankless job in which Mike Fields does his best to realize the blood, sweat and tears that is high school sports. He truly has dedicated his career to giving recognition to the youth of the Commonwealth.
