Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mr. McGill was the 1969 KHSAA St. Golf Champ and was SEC golfer. He has made an impact on Kentucky golf, including but certainly not limited to high school student/golfers. He served as President of the Kentucky PGS and was named Kentucky Golf Instructor of the year (1988, 1997, 2001). Mr. McGill has, as the golf professional at Bowling Green County Club for more than two decades, been the driving force (with the help of many others he inspired to get involved) in the growth of the Kentucky State High School Athletic Association's Boys' and Girls' State Golf Championships.
