Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mr. Maggard is a 12-time letter winner at Cumberland HS. He led the football team to a pair of state championship games as a quarterback and defensive back. He earned all-state honors at both positions. He was a 3 year starter and 1,000 point scorer on the basketball team and a 4 year starter and all-state selection as a pitcher and outfielder on the baseball team.
