Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mr. Cobb was All State Football at Hazard HS and played in three State Basketball tournaments. His team won three Regional Basketball titles and was All Tournament Team in 1956-1959. He also played for Hall of Fame Coach Goebel Ritter and played with Hall of Famer Astor "Cat" Sizemore. He received a football scholarship from UK and is a member of the Hazard High School Hall of Fame.
