Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
As a former Miss Kentucky Basketball and Kentucky Female Athlete of the Year, Brigette was selected to the Kentucky All-Century Basketball Team as one of the top 25 basketball player in the history of Kentucky Women's Basketball and is a member of the Kentucky High School All-Star Hall of Fame. She served as Honorary Team Captian during the annual KY-IND All-Star Series, was selected to All-District, All Region and All State Tournament teams during her career and won numerous MVP and All-Tournament awards. Brigette was also the Regional Campion in the 100 Meter Hurdles, 300 Meter Hurdles and High Jump as well as Sectional Champion in 100 Meter Hurdles and 300 Meter Hurdles. At the State Track & Field Meet Brigette placed 3rd in High Jump, 5th in 100 Meter Hurdles and 6th in 300 Hurdles. She only participated in track her senior year in high school.
