Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
A three-sport standout at Flaget HS (1962-65), Brohm excelled in basketball and baseball as a prep. As a senior, Brohm earned 1st Team All-State honors in football from the Courier-Journal and the Associated Press, as well as a spot on the All-Southern All-America team. He threw for 1,848 yards and a record 23 TD passes to lead Flaget to a 10-1 record as a senior, which stood as a Louisville City Schools record until it was broken by Chris Redman in the 1990's. He went on to play at the University of Louisville, before transitioning to a career in coaching. As QB coach at Trinity HS, Brohm has helped the Rocks to 10 state championships.
