Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
- 1998 Kentucky Mr. Football - 1998 3A Football State Champion (15-0) Record - 3x 9th Region Basketball Champion (1997, 1998, 1999) - 1998 Football: completed 169-of-270 passes for 3,392 yards and 42 touchdowns while rushing for 904 yards and 15 touchdowns. - Lorenzen played for four seasons at Kentucky from 2000-03. As a freshman, he led the SEC in passing yards with 3,687 and threw for 528 against Georgia. Lorenzon still holds the school record for most career passing yards with 10,354. Led Kentucky to a 7-5 record in 2002. Lorenzen still holds the UK record for completions, attempts and passing yards. He is second all-time in touchdown passes and had 15 300-yard passing games, including eight in 2000. - University of Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame (2015) - Played for the New York Giants
