Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
A graduate of Frankfort High School, Randy Mills graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in English, and earned a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Georgetown College. He began his professional career as a teacher and coach at Franklin County High School. He then served a four-year stint as Associate Director of Admissions at Transylvania University, followed by an eleven-year tenure as Senior Associate Director of Admissions at the University of Kentucky. He presently holds the position of Director of College Counseling at the Sayre School, in Lexington. Mills was a founding member of the Kentucky AAU Basketball Association and served as the organization's vice-chairman for twenty-four years. He has an extensive Public Address resume. He served as the public address voice of the KHSAA Girls' State Basketball Tournament for twenty years. He has served as the voice of the KHSAA Boys' "Sweet 16" State Basketball Tournament since 1980, and continues in that role
