Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
Mr. Deaton was named 1st team All State in two sports as well as being a state champion hurdler. In his four years as a high school athlete he was awarded 18 letters in football, basketball, baseball and track and was named a scholastic All American in football.
