The information and instructions for the 2018 KHSAA State Wrestling Tournament have been posted online. You can access the information by going to the wrestling page of the KHSAA website. All participants are advised to download the files and review the instructions to ensure awareness of all KHSAA rules and regulations regarding the tournament.

  • Coaches packet pick up is Thursday between 3-6 p.m.
  • There will be a $5 parking charge collected by the Kentucky Horse Park
  • Coaches that can be on the floor … check the list with your AD today. Coaches passes are issued based on the School subdomain list of those who have completed HB383 & the Online Rules Clinic. Passes must be worn at all times. There will be a charge for replacements.
  • Participant hangtags must be with the wrestlers to gain admission to the venue and weight room. There will be a charge for replacements. 
  • Schools that wish to bring their athletic trainers must email Rob Ullery at rullery@uky.edu to be approved for a floor pass.
  • Let the KHSAA know, and the alternates’ school know of any athletes unable to compete ASAP. This includes any 5th place finisher that is not coming.
  • Advance tickets are on sale online through the KHSAA website, including a discounted $30 all-session pass. Tickets will also be available for purchase on-site with the all-session pass priced at $35, or a day pass for $20. Make the checks payable to KHSAA or credit card only. No cash sales on Thursday.
  • Order your 2018 State Wrestling Tickets
  • NO taping pictures or signs on the painted surfaces of the venue.
  • NO COOLERS through the front gate.
  • Teams coming down for pictures can access the floor only when called. There is a new photo area set up on the upper level by the stairs. Fans and participants are encouraged to use this area to take photos.
  • Random Draw for the Finals will be announced Saturday a.m.. We will draw for which match will start the championship finals. The Coaches Association has asked that we try this new feature to bring some more excitement to the finals.
