The KHSAA website has been updated to reflect the lane assignments for this year’s KHSAA State Indoor Track & Field Meet presented by UK HealthCare! The championships will return to the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville on March 3-5. The school rosters have also been updated to reflect a few athletes’ missing bib numbers.

LANE ASSIGNMENTS

STATE QUALIFIERS – ROSTERS BY SCHOOL

COACHES PASSES

  • As mentioned in the conference call, a list of complimentary passes for certified coaches has been prepared so member schools can plan accordingly.
  • As we do at other KHSAA state events, additional coaching passes for individuals on the school roster who meet all Bylaw 25 requirements can be purchased.
  • Member schools are encouraged to do so before the event to take advantage of the discounted pricing (single day ticket prior to midnight before).
  • COACH PASS ALLOCATION LIST

COMPETITION REMINDERS

  • Athletes are only permitted to wear pyramid spikes with a max length of 1/4”. Spikes will be checked by the clerk.
  • Coaches should prepare athletes to communicate with meet personnel and check-in/check-out of each event. Athletes should arrive at the clerk for running events no later than the second call. The games committee has determined that athletes who check out to compete in a running event have 8 minutes from the completion of that event to return to check-in.
  • Coaches, it is also very important that you speak with your athletes about the schedule prior to the meet, particularly those who are in multiple field events, or a combination of field and running events. Athletes and coaches must know the appropriate rules regarding check-out (and in) and MUST COMMUNICATE continually with meet officials (particularly the head judge of each event) to ensure a smooth transition if necessary to report to another event.
  • The games committee has determined appropriate time limits for competitors excused to compete in another event but it is the athlete’s responsibility to adhere to check-in requirements. Athletes must check back in with the head judge upon return to the event. This is very important, so please discuss this procedure with your athletes.
