02/09/15 – State Bowling Information

 

Please be sure to read this entire email as this important information is to ensure that you and your team are as prepared as possible for the upcoming week. First, please read over the information in the Postseason Tournament Instructions.

Line up cards will be due Friday at the coaches meeting.  Girl’s meeting at 7:15am and boy’s meeting at 12:45pm.  Singles coaches meeting will be at 9:15 on Thursday. http://khsaa.org/forms/bw111.pdf or the .doc version is ont he KHSAAA bowling page under forms BW111.  Scorecards will be given out at the meetings.

 

*New this year – due to a new business being built in front of the bowling center, Collins Eastland has secured additional parking at the Silver Cue Billiards (if you are facing the bowling center from New Circle Road the Silver Cue is on the right). There is a separate entrance to the Silver Cue off of New Circle Road.  This is where the all buses MUST park.  Please make sure that your bus driver is aware of this and that they park in a manner which allows as many buses and fans to utilize this additional parking space to its maximum capacity.  We have also secured parking at the Sherwin Williams store on the backside of Eastland Shopping Center if needed.  It is important that you share all of this parking information with your parents as well.

 

Coaches passes – this year all coaches of qualifying teams and singles competitors that are listed on the schools page of the KHSAA website and have met all of the qualifications of coaching will have a coaches pass in the team packet.  There will still only be two coaches per team and a coach per singles competitor allowed in the pit area, but all will have free admission.

 

Doors open for teams Thursday at 9:00am and Friday at 7:00am. Please do not arrive early. Doors will open for fans Thursday at 9:15am and Friday at 7:15am.

The team competitions will be webcast on Friday.  Tune in at approximately 12:15 for the girls finals and at approximately 5:15 for the boys finals at khsaa.tv.

 

We will have TeamIP and concessions available.  There will be no outside food allowed.
