02/05/13 State Bowling Information for Participating Schools and Fans

Come join us at the Ebonite/KHSAA State Bowling Championship on Feb. 7 & 8.

State meet information can be found on the Bowling page of the KHSAA website at:

At all times, participating teams and coaches shall enter and re-enter through the team check in gate at the entrance nearest the Strike Zone.  The main entrance will be used for paid admissions only.

Team packets will be given only to coaches only.  

The packets for Thursday singles event will contain the time table for the tournament, lane assignments, wristbands for the participating student athlete(s) and a wristband for the coach with one participant or two wristbands for coaches with two or more singles participants   Only these wristbands will be allowed pit access.  There will be no addition coaches wristbands given.  They will also include a KHSAA State Championship patch for your participant(s).

Team Packets on the Friday team cahmpionships will contain the time table for the tournament, lane assignments, wristbands for the participants that were provided to our office from your line up cards (up to 12) and two wristbands for coaches.  Only these wristbands will be allowed pit access during your team tournament.  There will be no addition wristbands given.

Practice Pairs – There will be practice pairs available during play for your substitutes to warm up or between games for bowlers to stay warm when necessary.

General admission will be $10 per day or a two day general admission may be purchased for $15 with 10 years and under admission being FREE.

Friends and Family who may not be able to travel to this great event can watch the finals of each team event and the singles finals with live coverage on khsaa.tv.  Tune in at the approximate scheduled championship times to catch all of the finals action.

Teamip will provide this great event with novelty items and apparel.  Please visit our teamip shop just inside the team check in gate.

Once you purchase you state tournament novelty from teamip, take it straight to the Ebonite booth for an autograph from Tommy Jones.  Also meet Brenda Green and Ed Gallagher from Ebonite and sign up for some great give aways.

Tailgating with open fire/grills will not be permitted in the Executive Strike and Spare parking area nor the the grassy area between the center and the Fair Grounds entrance.  Food will also not be permitted to be brought into the bowling center.  The restaurant will be open for breakfast and lunch.
