Congratulations to all participants and coaches who have qualified for the 2022-23 KHSAA State Dance Championships presented by UK HealthCare. First and foremost, we would like to thank the regional host schools for all of their hard work and the success of the regional competitions. There are several items for your review on the Dance page of the KHSAA website, including the state instructions, time schedules, order of appearance, maps, and more.

TIME SCHEDULES


PARTICIPATING TEAMS CONFERENCE CALL

Participating Teams are also invited to join the KHSAA in a conference call that will take place on Monday, December 5 at 3:00 PM (ET). Details about joining the call will be sent to participating coaches. State Championship details including parking, check-in procedures, ticketing, and other pertinent details related to attending the event will be discussed.

State Championship Instructions have also been posted for coaches to view prior to the conference call.

TICKETS

  • Tickets are also on sale now! Encourage your fans to purchase early!
  • All state dance competition tickets will be sold online via GoFan, the KHSAA’s official digital ticket vendor.
  • All dance competition ticket prices are, in advance, $11 each per session, plus electronic transaction fees that are not received by the KHSAA.
  • Day of the competition, it is $13 each per session plus fees.
  • An all-session pass is available during pre-sale for $20.
  • Children five-and-under will be admitted free, but must still “purchase” the free ticket through GoFan.
  • All tickets will be sold online via GoFan, the KHSAA’s official digital ticket vendor.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501(c)3 organization made up of 287 member schools both public and non-public. The KHSAA awards 215 state championships to 51 teams and 164 individuals in 13 sports and 6 sport-activities, funds catastrophic insurance coverage for its more than 106,000 rostered member school student-athletes, provides coaching education and sports safety programs for more than 12,000 coaches, and licenses and facilitates the distribution of training material for over 4,000 contest officials.
