IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MEMBER SCHOOLS AND SWIMMING/DIVING PARTICIPANTS

Due to the strong likelihood of additional inclement weather, multiple school closures, and potentially more hazardous traveling conditions, there have been adjustments to the remaining schedule for the KHSAA Swimming & Diving State Finals Championships. The safety of participants, coaches, administrators and parents remains the primary concern around decisions of this type.

The Diving Championships that were originally scheduled for Thursday, February 20, have been postponed, and KHSAA staff is working to adjust the time schedules to incorporate the gender-specific diving competition within the original scheduled times. Participating schools can plan all girls’ diving and swimming events on Friday, February 21, and all boys’ diving and swimming events on Saturday, February 22.

A revised time schedule for Friday and Saturday and additional information will be posted as soon as possible and additional notification is forthcoming. We apologize for the inconvenience, but with anticipated road conditions for the next 24 hours, the safety of all participants, coaches, and fans is the top priority.
