02/16/22 – State Swimming Meet Information

February 16, 2022 Swimming Blog Updates

The KHSAA State Swimming Championships presented by UK HealthCare begin on February 18-19 at the Lancaster Aquatics Center, University of Kentucky. Coaches should review additional information that is now available before attending the state meet.

  • Lanes have been assigned by school for the warm-up sessions prior to prelims each day and a copy will be available in the team packets upon arrival.

  • No tickets will be sold in advance online, only at the door.
  • Fans will need to have a credit card/debit card to purchase the ticket on-site.
  • Fans in the queuing line will be given a voucher to reserve their spot in line and when the doors open, each person in possession of a ticket will be able to purchase one online digital ticket from the box office.
  • Due to fire marshal and facility capacity limits, the first 500 tickets sold will be admitted into the facility. Throughout each session, as one (1) fan exits the building, the next fan with a voucher would have the opportunity to purchase an online digital ticket for entry. The maximum number of fans in the general admission seats during any session is 500.
  • This reminder to all athletes, coaches, fans, and others attending the 2022 KHSAA State Swimming Championships. Due to current campus policy, masks are to be worn with the exception of the swimmers competing in the current event. Thanks for your cooperation.
  • Tickets are $15 each (plus fees), per session, and each individual in line may only purchase one ticket.
  • Children 2-and-under are admitted free, but still must “purchase” a free ticket through GoFan.
  • Due to space limitations, there is no re-entry for the event. If you leave the facility for any reason, you will be required to purchase another ticket.
  • Friday’s sales will begin at 9:15 am ET for boys’ swimming prelims and at 5:45 p.m. for the boys’ swimming finals.
  • Saturday’s sales will begin at 9:15 a.m. ET for girls’ swimming prelims and at 5:45 p.m. for the girls’ swimming finals.
  • All four (4) sessions require a separate ticket and the facility will be cleared at the end of each.
