The 2026 KHSAA Tennis State Championships presented by UK HealthCare continue Tuesday in Lexington with two rounds of singles and doubles competition.

Due to the likelihood of inclement weather, the Tennis State Championships will operate under a modified schedule, with competition taking place at both the University of Kentucky and the Genesis Health Clubs – Lexington Tennis Club (410 Redding Road, Lexington, KY 40517).

Competition begins with boys’ singles action at 9 a.m. from the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex on the University of Kentucky campus. The girls’ singles matches will also be at UK starting at 11:30 a.m.

All doubles competitions will be held at the Lexington Tennis Club except for the girls’ quarterfinal round. The boys begin doubles at 11:00 a.m. and the girls at 12:45 p.m.

Singles and doubles play will conclude Wednesday at UK, beginning with the semifinal rounds of boys’ and girls’ singles at 8 a.m. and the semifinal rounds of boys’ and girls’ doubles at 10 a.m. The championship rounds of both genders’ singles and doubles tournaments are scheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m.

The KHSAA Tennis State Championships will reconvene for two days of team tennis on Thursday, May 28, and Friday, May 29. The boys’ team competition begins Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Boone Complex, while the opening round and quarterfinal round of the girls’ tournament will be hosted at the Sayre Athletic Complex starting at 9 a.m.

The boys’ and girls’ team tournaments will conclude at UK on May 29, beginning with the semifinals at 9 a.m. and the championship matches in the afternoon.
