Due to the likelihood of inclement weather on Wednesday and Thursday, the 2026 KHSAA State Tennis First Round Tournament scheduled for Freeman Lake Tennis Complex on May 20th is being relocated to the Louisville Indoor Racquet Club (8609 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40242).

We are aware that the location change may cause some hardships with travel plans that have already been established, but need to make this adjustment to ensure the matches are completed, as there is no indoor facility at Freeman Lake.

The Ashland Tennis Center (Regions 13-16) has four indoor courts on-site, while South Warren (Regions 1-4) will utilize the Warren County Tennis Facility’s six indoor courts at Buchanon Park (9222 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). For Regions 9-12, competition will be moved to the Lexington Tennis Club (410 Redding Road, Lexington, KY 40517) if weather conditions warrant a change.
