09/28/26- REMINDER- KHSAA to Again Conduct Title IX Education Meetings for All Schools, Middle Schools Invited

As was mentioned at the recently concluded Regional Meetings, the KHSAA will again conduct two Title IX Webinars for 2026-27. The first webinar will be on Tuesday, October 6 and will be conducted via Zoom to afford the membership more opportunities to attend. The second webinar will be scheduled in the coming days and will likely be right after election day. Once confirmed, another notice will be sent. Keep in mind that for those having field visits this year (https://khsaa.org/08-01-26-title-ix-schools-being-revisited-for-2026-2027/), the majority of those site visits are after these meetings.

• The meeting should conclude no later than 12:00 p.m.

THESE SEMINARS ARE NOT SOLELY FOR THOSE SCHOOLS WITH A FIELD AUDIT SCHEDULED IN 2026-2027.

This workshop should be extremely beneficial for all member schools, as it will review the Title IX Education program conducted by the KHSAA, as required by State Regulations. Since these meetings are being held as Zoom Webinars, attendees will be muted but can submit questions to the panelists via the webinar’s Q&A feature.

EILA Credit has been applied for in order to help the appropriate administrators who attend, and in addition, this meeting will count four (4) hours toward the Bylaw 25 required hours for Athletic Directors.

EILA Certificates will only be sent to those who are logged in as attending the webinar for the majority of the workshop.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to then register for the Zoom webinar, as Zoom registration is required for the meeting.
