A notice to state softball participating teams and fans: please note that the city of Lexington has several events this first weekend of the softball tournament (including the Railbird Festival), which will limit lodging availability. Teams needing housing are encouraged to reach out as soon as possible to secure housing.

Specific hotels have allotted teams a block of rooms (the number varies by location) at a discounted rate. Schools are responsible for all lodging bills. Have your school’s or Board of Education’s Sales Tax Exempt number with you at check-in to avoid sales taxes from being added to the hotel bill.

There is no requirement to stay at a specific property to qualify for team reimbursement expenses. If you wish to receive team expense reimbursement, you must also submit the GE64 form (the deadline is June 22nd). The link to that form can be found here: GE64
