Thanks for your great cooperation in getting final preparations set for the 2019 State Softball Tournament. While the weather didn’t cooperate with the original plan, we look forward to giving it another try this weekend!

The KHSAA wanted to publish updated details about the tournament, which is now scheduled to begin June 14th at 10:00 AM.

  • Game times for Friday, June 14th will not change with quarterfinal rounds scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM at John Cropp Stadium at the University of Kentucky.
  • Due to scheduling conflicts in and around campus, the semifinal game times have been adjusted, with Semifinal #1 to begin at 1:00 PM and Semifinal #2 to begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 15th.
  • The Championship game is still slated for 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 16th.

An adjusted detailed time schedule is available on the KHSAA website.

A copy of these schedules will be included in the team packets and are available by clicking the following link: https://khsaa.org/2019-state-softball-daily-schedule/

Team hotel assignments have not changed, so to find contact information if your team needs lodging, please click the following link:

Teams are reminded to please fill out GE64 once again for new check-in dates in order to receive reimbursement:

After very careful observation of team activity on Friday morning, there have been some minor changes in the allowances in the indoor area as well as adjustments to the schedule for usage. Please pay careful attention to the information on the schedule link as teams are now assigned a full hour (shared between both of the teams in the upcoming game) in the indoor facility, and supervised hitting will be permitted. The mound area will remain covered.

Please contact Assistant Commissioner Sarah Bridenbaugh (sbridenbaugh@khsaa.org) should you have any final questions.

Best of luck to all competing teams!
