This is a reminder that the 2016 KHSAA Softball Umpire Clinic will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Franklin County High School. This clinic must be attended once every four years to be eligible for assignment to umpire region or state tournaments, but will not replace the mandatory online clinic.

Franklin County High School, 1100 East Main Street Frankfort, KY. 40601

Umpires should park in the front of the school and go through the front doors and straight down the hall to the library on the right for registration. You should leave your gear in your cars.   

Topics & Agenda (Times are EST)

8:00-8:30 a.m. – Registration
8:30-9:00 a.m. – Welcome, Introductions, Review Agenda
9:00-9:15 a.m. – KHSAA Assistant Commissioner Darren Bilberry
9:15-12:00 p.m. – Classroom Instruction
12:00-1:00 p.m. – Lunch on your own
1:15-2:00 p.m. – Plate Work/Base Work
2:15–3:00 p.m. – Switch Groups – Plate Work/Base Work
3:15-4:00 p.m. –  Q&A

You will need to bring all your plate gear. Everyone attending camp is required to be in approved KHSAA Umpire’s uniform.
