04/19/18 – Baseball Statistical Reporting

April 19, 2018 Baseball Blog Updates

Now that the season is in full swing following spring break, the KHSAA will again be using MaxPreps to compile statistical leaders in baseball.

Teams will be required to input their roster into MaxPreps.Rosters entered for statistical purposes are separate and apart from the required roster entry through the KHSAA website for eligibility purposes. Entering for statistics does not relieve the school of required entry on the KHSAA website and students not on the KHSAA online roster are not eligible to participate (freshman, JV or varsity).

This roster entry can be done by syncing your Game Changer account with your MaxPreps account. Remember, Game Changer is the required mechanism for tracking/reporting your daily pitch counts at all levels (Freshmen, JV, Varsity). Since Game Changer syncs with MaxPreps, schools won’t have any additional data entry if this sync is turned on.

Coaches can go to if they haven’t already signed up for a MaxPreps account.

New coaches will need an access code to reach the administrative pages for stat entry if you use something in addition to Game Changer to score your games. Contact or call (800) 329-7324 ext. 1 for access.

Coaches can set up a team in GameChanger and select the “Sync to MaxPreps” option.

Option 1: Enter stats directly into or through the free MaxPreps MPCoach app for iPhones:

Option 2: Use a baseball stat partner from this list:

Stats are updated daily at 4 a.m. (ET).

Schools were notified back in March of the required use of Game Changer to track/report pitch counts. Below is a link to the information that was previously communicated.
