The detailed information below should answer any questions you have, but as always, feel free to reach out for anything else. This is more detail following the earlier “save the date” notice sent to everyone via email. And it is also being sent via text for people like Fred who don’t like email.

If you have issues contact Julian Tackett at 859-229-3916 or Butch Cope at 859-351-1833. PLEASE CONTACT MYSELF OR MR. COPE BY TUESDAY MORNING IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO WORK ONE OR MORE GAMES. We are fairly short-handed this year and need as much time as possible to move things around. If you would, you can simply send a text confirming that you are working if that works quicker for you. It is important if at all possible that you be available for all games to ensure the best experience for the participants.

As you likely know, Dan White has left our staff and our primary event contacts will be your main contact. We will send a worker’s list out once we see if there are any cancellations. A number of our usual workers will be in different spots this year to help with our transition to GoFan ticketing and we appreciate your flexibility. And we know we have at least one worker on injured reserve this year who will be back with bells on and a new knee next year!

Masks / Face Coverings
A mask/face covering is required to be worn at all times by all workers when indoors at the stadium unless actively seated eating or drinking. Social distancing should be practiced where practical and feasible

Other COVID-19 Procedures

The procedures and stadium requirements in place for the final UK home game of the year against New Mexico State remain in place for our finals.

Game Schedule
Friday, December 3, 12 p.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Saturday, 12 p.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. All times are ET.

Parking
Workers should park in the Green Lot on the Cooper Drive side of the stadium or the Blue Lot on the Alumni Driv. No parking pass is necessary as your credential is valid for parking. If you encounter parking control, tell the attendant that you are picking up will-call credentials.

From the Green Lot, you will need to walk around the stadium to the Alumni Drive side to pick up your credentials as check-in is inside the Commonwealth Tower Lobby between Gates 9 and 11.

Report Time and Credentials
The Commonwealth Tower Lobby opens two hours before the first game on Friday and two hours before the first game on Saturday.

Field workers (Tim, Rick, Fred, Glenn, Ken, Vaughn, Bruce, Frank, David, Keith, Jimmy, Don, Andy, James, Tony, etc.) are asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m. to help with setup as needed (which is only ninety minutes prior to team arrival). Once the CTL lobby opens,  you can report to the Commonwealth Tower Lobby (South /Alumni Drive side) to get your credentials at Media Check-in (if you haven’t already worked another event), while the rest of the workers are asked to arrive by 9:30 a.m. and report to the same location

Those of you with season-long credentials may use those for admittance. Others will be given credentials when you report. We will need you to check in each day to verify compensation.

Mr. Rob Ullery has coordinated arrival times for the UK Sports Med trainers and Mr. Joe Angolia has coordinated arrival times for those involved with khsaa.tv.

Setup
For those who have volunteered to help with setup on Thursday, our staff will report to the stadium at 11 a.m. We would love any and all help distributing signs, etc. as well as the movement of those pads, etc. but understand if that time makes you unavailable. You will not need to wear a mask during setup if you are outdoors.

Food tickets
Will be available each day at the check-in table inside the Commonwealth Tower Lobby. See Kara Howard. You can get two meal vouchers each day that are to be used at most concession stands for a value of $10 (they will not issue change). There is no hospitality room.

Dress
Bring everything you need for whatever weather eventuality occurs for the weekend.

Field Level
Special note to field level (Tim, Rick, Fred, Glenn, Ken, Vaughn, Bruce, Frank, David, Keith, Jimmy, Don, Andy, James, Tony, etc.), please get with Commissioner Tackett upon arrival to be sure you are aware of logistical changes since last year. There are continued revisions, particularly post-game, as evolution through and after the pandemic.
