05/13/14 – Board of Control Adopts Football Alignment for 2015-2018

This is being sent to all Principals, Superintendents and Athletic Directors of KHSAA Football Playing Schools.

 

The Board of Control today adopted the final alignment of teams for the 2015-2018 playing seasons. That alignment is listed at http://goo.gl/rZfNWC.

 

With this action, the moratorium on scheduling and contracts is lifted, and schools may engage and negotiate final agreements.

 

In a related matter, the Board of Control established the pairings for 2015 ONLY for Class 6A to mirror the other classes, and will continue discussion and deliberation on postseason pairings at future meetings. Multiple member schools in Class 5A had made a request to begin playoff pairing rotation, but this issue will not be addressed until a further determination is made regarding Class 6A.
