06/06/19 – Final Details for KHSAA State Softball Tournament

The KHSAA wanted to send some final reminders and clarifications about the 2019 KHSAA State Softball Tournament set to start this weekend.

SCHEDULE

• A fully detailed planned time schedule has been developed for each game as was discussed in the team call. A copy of these schedules will be included in the team packets and are available by clicking the following link: Detailed Time Schedule

GAME REMINDERS

• Teams are reminded that the team in the top half of the bracket will be the home team in all games and use the first base dugout.
• The team in the bottom half of the bracket will be the visiting team in all games and use the third base dugout.
• The home team will wear light colored jerseys and the visiting team will wear dark colored jerseys.
• There is a restroom in each dugout and we have confirmed that they will be available for use during each team’s respective game. 

GROUND RULES

The University of Kentucky has provided the following ground rules for teams to review prior to play:

• Field is Tight
• Dead Ball if:
  • Ball lodges in field tarp;
  • Ball rolls under the fence;
  • Top step of dugout
