Additional information about the 2021 KHSAA State Competitive Cheer Championships has been posted to the KHSAA website. State championship instructions, competition schedule, maps and directions that were covered in the conference call can all be found at under the “State Competitive Cheer Information and Instructions” dropdown menu. Coaches are encouraged to review all information prior to attending the state championships.

Coaches are reminded to be sure to have GoFan comp tickets for the entire squad, and up to two (2) coaches, which were sent to the Athletic Director for each competing school. All tickets will be redeemed on their phone at either the main ticket gate or pass gate.

This year’s championship will take place at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester on May 13-14. Game Day squads will compete on May 13th with the first performance at 10:30 AM (ET) and all other divisions (All-Girls Small, Medium, Large, Super and Coed) will compete on May 14th beginning at 9:30 AM (ET). Doors for fans will open at 10:00 AM (ET) on Thursday and 9:00 AM (ET) on Friday. 



About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501(c)3 organization made up of 284 member schools both public and non-public. The KHSAA awards 215 state championships to 51 teams and 164 individuals in 13 sports and 6 sport-activities, funds catastrophic insurance coverage for its more than 106,000 rostered member school student-athletes, provides coaching education and sports safety programs for more than 12,000 coaches, and licenses and facilitates the distribution of training material for over 4,000 contest officials.
