08/22/24 – Competitive Cheer Declaration Form for KHSAA Postseason Now Open
PrintThe declaration form (CC101) for the sport-activity of Competitive Cheer is now open.
The deadline to complete this form is Monday, September 30. This is for KHSAA Regional and State Competitions, so please discuss what division(s) your school will be entering as there will be no adjustments to divisions once the entries are posted. Each member school Athletic Director or Head Coach shall only submit one form to declare. You can find CC101 at the following link: https://ly.khsaa.org/tcmw
SQUAD SIZES/DIVISIONS
- All-Girls Divisions (4 divisions):
- Small (Traditional 2.5 Minute): minimum 5, maximum of 15
- Medium (Traditional 2.5 Minute): minimum 16, maximum of 19
- Large (Traditional 2.5 Minute): minimum 20, maximum of 23,
- Super Large (Traditional 2.5 Minute): minimum 24, maximum of 30
- Co-Ed (1 division):
- Coed (Traditional 2.5 Minute): 1 or more boys; minimum 5, maximum of 30
- Game Day (2 divisions) –
- Game Day Small – minimum of 5, maximum of 19
- Game Day Large – minimum of 20, maximum of 30
A school can enter the same competitor on two squads as long as one is the Game Day Division. A school cannot enter the same competitor on any other two squads (i.e. Student A on All-Girls Medium cannot also be on the Coed squad, or Student B on the All-Girls Large Squad cannot also be on the All-Girls Small Squad)

The following dates and host schools are made available to assist schools in planning for the postseason competitions. The tentative dates for 2025 are also listed.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501(c)3 organization made up of 290 member schools, both public and non-public.
