The regional results for Cross Country and the 2022 KHSAA State Qualifiers have been posted on the KHSAA website.

Changes may occur as coaches and officials have an opportunity to double-check both the performance list and the roster by school for accuracy. An email will be sent once all changes are made, and final performance lists and lane assignments are available.

Each school should review their student-athletes and let us know immediately of any necessary changes (i.e. misspelling of names, incorrect grade, etc.) by emailing us at xc@khsaa.org. It is important that you send corrections to xc@khsaa.org to ensure all parties are aware of the changes.

The deadline for corrections is Monday, October 24 at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern).

For new coaches: Once a student-athlete (or team) is entered into the region they are automatically entered into the state meet if they qualify. Even if your team did not qualify, you may have had an individual that did qualify. Please check the link provided to see if this might be the case. It is the roster by school that tells you if your student-athletes qualified for the state meet.

The State Meet Time Schedule and maps for the Bourbon County Cross Country course are available on the KHSAA Cross Country website. Tickets for the State Cross Country Meet are only available online (which will be digital-only): https://gofan.co/app/school/KHSAA

All coaches should review the State Meet Instructions and be aware of the Participating Teams Conference call at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Additional instructions for joining the call will be sent to coaches/Athletic Directors. The State Meet instructions have been posted at the following link: https://khsaa.org/cross_country/2022/stateinstructions.pdf

As has been done in previous years, coaches’ certifications will be checked in order to obtain a coaching credential or complimentary access to the meet.

  • Coaches need to be Bylaw 25 certified and be sure all requirements are up to date.
  • This requirement includes being current on the rules clinic, sports safety course and a valid date entered for the expiration of CPR certification.
  • As a reminder, there are separate passes for all 6 races (boys, girls, class, etc) and if your school wishes to have a coach on the course for both the boys and girls race in your respective class and those coaches are the same, Athletic Directors are reminded to list that coach on the KHSAA database under both genders.
  • As a reminder, a maximum of two (2) certified coaches per school will be given access to the course. All other coaches listed on the school’s coaching staff that has met the Bylaw 25 requirements as detailed above will be given complimentary access to the park, but will not be permitted on the course.

Congratulations to all of the teams for a great season! Thank you to all of the Regional Managers and Officials for a successful regional weekend. We hope to see everyone at the KHSAA State Championships this upcoming weekend!
