10/27/25 – State Soccer Workers Information
PrintThank you for working the 2024 KHSAA State Soccer Tournament presented by UK HealthCare. Here are some pertinent details to help you prepare for the event at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, as well as the Lexington Sporting Stadium, both located in Lexington. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
EVENT DETAILS
- Tuesday, October 28, and Wednesday, October 29 at Paul Laurence Dunbar (1600 Man O’War Blvd, Lexington, KY 40513)
- Saturday, November 1 at Lexington Sporting Stadium (200 Shives Drive, Lexington, KY 40509)
- Parking: Free on-site.  Please see the map below on where to park and enter

CHECK-IN
Please enter through the Main Entrance (ticket gate) at Paul Laurence Dunbar and enter through the middle gate at Lexington Sporting Stadium. Use the maps above for reference.  
If you have the KHSAA season-long Event credential, please bring that.  If this is the first event of the year you are working and received one in the past, you can pick the 25-26 one up at this time.  If not, a general event staff badge will be issued.
ATTIRE
Dress comfortably and keep in mind the weather forecast if you are in a gated area to dress appropriately for any cooler weather.
MEALS
To plan accordingly, we will have tickets available for redeeming food from the concession stand each day. 
STAFF ASSIGNMENTS/DUTIES 
Ticket Gate – Darren Bilberry, Kara Howard, Kathy Johnston, Janet Compton, Ralph Compton, and Ken Craig (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday). Justin Woodside and Brandon Hibberd (Saturday)
- Box Office Ticket Purchases

- Arrival time is 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Team Check-In – 
Jeanie Molloy and Jeremy Ison (Sara McClain on Saturday)
- Check in Teams (and Workers and Media if necessary) using Google Sheets in 2025 Soccer Notes. Team attendants to assist.
- Admit Commonwealth Card holders and guests and keep a count.
- Arrival time 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Team Attendants – Taylor Roden and Jared Roden (Game 1 Tuesday), Taylor Roden and Brian Oberg (Game 1 on Wednesday), Cassidy Moore and Brian Oberg (Game 1 on Saturday); Nick Adkins and Jason Jones (Game 2 each day)
- Verify players/staff from the roster
- Assist teams to locker rooms
- Manage teams (review timeline, warm-up areas, bench count, post-match awards)
- Assist with shagging as requested.
- Arrival time Game 1 – 3:00 p.m. (Tuesday and Wednesday), 2:30 p.m. on Saturday; Game 2 6:00 p.m. each day
Field Control/Access – Toby Tomazic, Bill Bruner
- Managing access areas as assigned
- Arrival time 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. on Saturday
Back Gate Access – Justin Woodside (Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Control access and entrance at the rear gate.
- Arrive at 3:30 p.m. each day.
Public Address/Clock, Spotter, and Stats – David Dawson, Nick Maxwell, Price Combs, Chris Shoals (Justin Woodside on Saturday)
- PA will ensure corporate sponsor fulfillment (PA reads, Video Board, Warmup Music).
- Operate Clock and assist with statistical tracking.
- Arrival time is 3:30 p.m. each day.
Certified Athletic Trainers – As scheduled through UK HealthCare
- EAP
- Training needs as requested.
- Arrive on-site at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Security – FCPS SRO
- Facility security, including assistance in facility management post-match and clearing of the facility.
- Arrive at 3:45 p.m. each day.
KHSAA Staff
- Arrive at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
- New Gray tonal shirt/Gray pullover on Tuesday.
- New Black tonal shirt/Black pullover on Wednesday.
- New Navy shirt/Navy pullover on Saturday.
