FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 26, 2018

The 2018 KHSAA State Soccer Tournament sponsored by the U.S. ARMY ROTC continues Saturday morning with quarterfinal action at Paul Laurence Dunbar HS and Lafayette HS. Four matches will take place at each site, with the first games of the day starting at 1 p.m. and the last games at each site scheduled for 7 p.m. Advance tickets are available for purchase at KHSAA.org, including an online-only, discounted all-session pass at https://gofan.co/app/school/KHSAA/Soccer.

STATE SOCCER QUARTERFINALS, SATURDAY, OCT. 27
at Paul Laurence Dunbar HS
1 p.m. (BOYS) – Henry Clay vs. Boyd County
3 p.m. (GIRLS) – Highlands vs. Greenwood
5 p.m. (BOYS) – Highlands vs. Daviess County
7 p.m. (GIRLS) – Bethlehem vs. Henderson County

at Lafayette HS
1 p.m. (GIRLS) – Sacred Heart vs. North Laurel
3 p.m. (BOYS) – St. Xavier vs. Corbin
5 p.m. (GIRLS) – West Jessamine vs. Russell
7 p.m. (BOYS) – Butler vs. Hopkinsville

All games after the quarterfinal round will move to Frederick Douglass HS, with the girls’ semifinal games taking place on Wednesday, Oct. 31, followed by the boys’ semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 1. Game times for the semifinals will be 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on both days. The finals will be played on Saturday, Nov. 3 with the girls’ title game at 6 p.m., followed immediately by the boys’ championship at 8 p.m.

The semifinals and finals will be webcast live at KHSAA.tv through the NFHS Network (http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/), which is a subscription-based service. About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
