The pairings for the 2016 KHSAA Volleyball, Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer, and Field Hockey State Tournaments will be determined Friday, September 23rd when the annual KHSAA Fall Championship Draw Show is conducted at the KHSAA Offices at 3:30 p.m. The Draw Show will be broadcast live online through the NFHS Network (www.nfhsnetwork.com) with a link to the network available at khsaa.org.

District soccer tournaments begin the week of October 10th, with region soccer tournaments getting underway the following week. The Girls’ Soccer Semi-State (Oct. 24) and Boys’ Soccer Semi-State (Oct. 25) matches will be held at host sites, followed by the quarterfinal round on Saturday, Oct. 29 in Lexington. The girls’ and boys’ semifinals will be played on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3, respectively, with the championship games taking place on Saturday, Nov. 5. All games will take place at Fayette County public high schools, with specific times and locations to be set at a later date.

Volleyball district tournaments start the week of Oct. 17th, followed by the regional tournaments the next week. The KHSAA State Volleyball Tournament will be held at Valley High School in Louisville and begins with first round games on Friday, Nov. 4. Quarterfinal and semifinal action will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, followed by the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 6.

Field Hockey regional tournaments will also be held the week of October 17th. The state tournament gets underway with quarterfinal action on Saturday, Oct. 29, with all games played at Assumption Green. The semifinals and finals will move to Bellarmine University, with the semis taking place on Monday, Oct. 24 and the state championship game on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

KHSAA.tv will have a live webcast of select games from each state tournament. KHSAA.tv webcasts will be streamed live through the NFHS Network, which is a subscription based service. Subscription plans to the NFHS Network are available for $9.95 a month. A free audio-only feed of the webcast games will also be available online through KHSAA.net and Mixlr (http://mixlr.com/khsaa/), which has a corresponding app available for iOS and Android devices.

Brackets for each tournament will be posted to the KHSAA/Riherds.com Scoreboard at the conclusion of the broadcast with printable PDF files available on the homepage of each sport.
