The matchups for the 2018 KHSAA Volleyball, Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer, and Field Hockey State Tournaments will be revealed Wednesday, October 10th when the annual Fall Championship Draw Show is conducted at the KHSAA Offices at 2 p.m. The Draw Show will be broadcast live online by KHSAA.tv through the NFHS Network.

The 2018 KHSAA Field Hockey State Tournament gets underway Saturday, Oct. 20 with quarterfinal action, followed by the semifinals on Monday, Oct. 22 and the championship match on Wednesday, Oct. 24, with all games played at Christian Academy-Louisville. The KHSAA State Volleyball Tournament will be held at Valley High School in Louisville for the seventh-straight year and begins with first round matches on Friday, Oct. 26. Quarterfinal and semifinal action will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, followed by the championship match on Sunday, Oct. 28.

The 2018 KHSAA State Soccer Tournament sponsored by the U.S. Army ROTC begins with Semi-State matches at local sites on Oct. 22nd for the girls and Oct. 23rd for the boys. The quarterfinals will be played in Lexington at Frederick Douglass and Lafayette High Schools on Saturday, Oct. 27, with all remaining rounds taking place at Frederick Douglass. The Girls’ and Boys’ Soccer Semifinals will be played Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, respectively, with the finals set for Saturday, Nov. 3.

KHSAA.tv will have a live webcast of select games from the field hockey, volleyball and soccer state tournaments. KHSAA.tv webcasts will be streamed live through the NFHS Network, which is a subscription-based service. Subscription plans to the NFHS Network are available for $9.95 a month. A monthly subscription, priced less than the cost of admission to a state championship event, entitles users to every broadcast by the KHSAA and the more than 40 participating state associations. A free audio-only feed of the webcast games will also be available online through KHSAA.net and Mixlr (http://mixlr.com/khsaa/), which has a corresponding app available for iOS and Android devices.

Brackets for each tournament will be posted to the KHSAA/Riherds.com Scoreboard at the conclusion of the Draw Show with printable PDF files available on the homepage of each sport.
