REGIONAL MEET ENTRIES

• Entries ARE DUE TODAY for the KHSAA Region Cross Country Meets!
• Entries must be submitted electronically via https://ky.milesplit.com by 9:00 p.m. ET four (4) days prior to the scheduled meet date (October 21).

POSTSEASON MEETS STARTING LINE

• Once the teams have been called to the starting line by the starter for final instructions, no further run-outs shall be permitted.
• A “step-up line” will not be used at the regional or state meets.  

2025 KENTUCKY BEEF COUNCIL STATE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS PRESENTED BY UK HEALTHCARE

• State Championship Instructions and other pertinent information for the 2025 Kentucky Beef Council State Cross Country Championships presented by UK HealthCare have been posted on the KHSAA website.
• The Championships will take place on November 1 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. You can view the state championship time schedule and instructions by clicking on the links below.

• There are also several other items for your review on the Cross Country page of the KHSAA website, including parking maps and hotel contact information.
• Final Performance listings and State qualifiers will be distributed on Sunday, October 26, provided that all regional meets are completed and results received.
• Coaches and Athletic Directors with state qualifiers should plan to attend a web conference via Zoom at 2:00 p.m. ET on October 28. Additional instructions regarding joining the call will be sent via email. 

PRACTICE FOR STATE MEET

• Athletes qualifying for state will be allowed on the Kentucky Horse Park course for practice on Friday, October 31 from 3-5:30 p.m. ET.
• A coach or school representative must attend practice with athletes.
• Alpha Event Medicine will be on-site from 3-5:30 p.m. ET.

TICKETS FOR STATE MEET

• All cross country state tickets will be sold online via GoFan, the KHSAA’s official digital ticket vendor, at khsaatickets.org
• There will be no paper tickets sold at the walk-up gate.
• Please be advised that the Kentucky Horse Park charges a $4 facility fee per runner and a $4 parking fee per ticket, which is included in the ticket price. KHP retains the entire fee.
  • The NO re-entry ticket price will be lower, all fees included, if purchased prior to midnight on the day of the event.
  • The NO re-entry ticket price increases by $3, all fees included, after midnight on the day prior to the event.
  • A re-entry ticket will be lower, all fees included, if purchased prior to midnight on the day of the event.
  • The re-entry price increases by $3, all fees included, after midnight on the day prior to the event.
  • Kentucky Children’s Hospital is sponsoring FREE tickets for all children 10-and-under. (To receive these qualifying free tickets, you must “purchase” these through khsaatickets.org even though there will be no charge.)
• Parking will be free for fans, as the price of all tickets includes any parking fees. There will be no charge for parking this year.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501(c)3 organization made up of 290 member schools, both public and non-public. The KHSAA awards 229 state championships to 59 teams and 178 individuals in 13 sports and six sport-activities, funds catastrophic insurance coverage for its more than 109,000 rostered member school student-athletes, provides coaching education and sports safety programs for more than 12,000 coaches and licenses and facilitates the distribution of training material for over 4,000 contest officials.
