11/15/18 – Board Confirms Volleyball Dates 2019 & 2020

The KHSAA Board of Control, at its November meeting, confirmed competition dates for the 2019 and 2020 seasons as a part of a review of all fall championship dates.

In 2019-20, the season will begin on NFHS Corresponding Week 7 (Aug. 18-24) with the first contest date of Aug. 19. The postseason will begin with District Tournaments during NFHS Week 16 (Oct. 20-26) followed by Regional Tournaments in Week 17 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2). The State Tournament will be held Nov. 8-10 at Valley High School in Louisville.

In 2020-21, the season will begin on NFHS Corresponding Week 7 (Aug. 16-22) with the first contest date of Aug. 17. The Postseason will begin with District Tournaments during NFHS Week 16 (Oct. 18-24) followed by Regional Tournaments in Week 17 (Oct. 25-31). The State Tournament will be held Nov. 6-8 at Valley High School in Louisville.
