11/02/22 – Volleyball State Tournament to Continue at George Rogers Clark

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: NOV. 2, 2022

For the third consecutive year, the final rounds of the KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament Presented by UK HealthCare will wrap up at George Rogers Clark in Winchester. Cardinal Arena will host four quarterfinal matches on Thursday, Nov. 3, followed by the semifinals and final on Friday, Nov. 4.

Tickets for each match are available online only and can be purchased in advance at khsaatickets.org.

Play begins Thurdsay at noon ET when McCracken County and Bowling Green take the court, followed by Paul Laurence Dunbar vs. Boyd County at 2 p.m., Whitley County vs. Notre Dame at 5 p.m. and Mercy vs. Assumption bringing the night to a close at 7 p.m.

Friday’s semifinals will be played at noon and 2 p.m., with the championship match scheduled for 7 p.m. that night.

All seven matches at GRC will be webcast live at KHSAA.tv through the NFHS Network. A free, audio-only feed of the webcast is also available through KHSAA.net and Mixlr (https://mixlr.com/khsaa/), which has a corresponding app available for iOS and Android devices. In addition, live stats for each match will be available on the volleyball page at KHSAA.org.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
