High-quality, multi-colored Baden Perfection VX5EC-210 game ball delivers maximum playability and performance

RENTON, Wash. – Baden Sports, Inc., today announced its premium Baden Perfection® series volleyball has been selected by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) as the official ball for postseason play beginning with the 2014-15 school year.

Starting this fall, all postseason matches in Kentucky will be contested using Baden’s highest-quality, multi-colored game ball, the Baden Perfection® VX5EC-210, featuring a red, white and navy color pattern. Constructed using full-grain, pre-sorted leather and a new tanning process for increased durability, the ball is designed for maximum playability and includes Baden’s Stealth Soft-Valve System™ for consistent hitting and comfort.

Baden will provide a complimentary volleyball to each KHSAA member school as part of the adoption.

“We take great pride in designing products with the player in mind,” said Michael Schindler, CEO, Baden Sports. “Baden volleyballs are the highest-quality and best-performing balls in the industry. We’re excited to be the official ball of Kentucky and look forward to providing the state’s coaches and players the best possible playing experience for many seasons to come.”

The five-year agreement was approved at a special meeting of the KHSAA Board of Control last week. Baden also is the official court volleyball of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).

“Baden’s reputation for quality and strong record in volleyball were important factors in the selection process,” said Julian Tackett, KHSAA Commissioner. “We look forward to working with Baden to provide an even more memorable and enjoyable championship experience for Kentucky student-athletes competing at our highest levels.”

The Baden Perfection VX5EC-210 can be purchased through team dealers, online or at major retailers nationwide. For more information, visit www.badensports.com.
