After kicking off 2022-23 state competition with last December’s winter event, five more state champions will be crowned at the 2022-23 KHSAA Esports Spring State Championships presented by UK HealthCare inside the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union Esports Lounge at The Cornerstone in Lexington on Wednesday.

Teams will compete for state titles in Rocket League (PC), League of Legends (PC), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Nintendo Switch), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Nintendo Switch) and Madden NFL 23 (PlayStation 4), with an award ceremony following the completion of every semifinal and final.

Tickets to the event are only available for purchase online and can be found at khsaatickets.org. The final rounds of each tournament will be streamed live on khsaa.tv for subscribers to the NFHS Network, as well as on the UK Twitch channels.

Play will start with the Madden NFL 23, Rocket League and League of Legends semifinals at 10 a.m. ET.

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
