10/25/18 – Volleyball State Tournament Begins Friday at Valley HS

The 2018 KHSAA State Volleyball Tournament returns to Valley High School this weekend (Oct. 26-28), with first round action beginning Friday morning when Corbin takes on McCracken County at 9:30 a.m. The opening round concludes Friday night with Paintsville vs. Southwestern at 8 p.m. The state tournament resumes Saturday morning with quarterfinal action starting at 10 a.m., followed by the semifinals beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday night. The championship match will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Advanced tickets for the state tournament can be purchased at, including an online-only, discounted all-session pass.

The Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final of the 2018 KHSAA State Volleyball Tournament will be webcast live at through the NFHS Network, which is a subscription-based service. Subscription plans for the NFHS Network are available for $9.95 a month.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
