02/22/21 – Track & Field Online Rules Clinic Now Available

The 2021 Online Rules Clinic that is required for all head and assistant coaches and licensed officials in the sport of Track & Field is now available. The clinic is required for ALL coaches at each school, head or assistant, paid or unpaid. 

As a reminder, here are some important dates about the upcoming season: 

  • First Practice: December 14
  • First Contest: January 18
  • Maximum Number of Scrimmages: 2
  • Maximum Number of Meets: 19
  • Region Window: May 24 – June 5
  • Tentative State Dates: June 10 – 12

CLINIC FOR HEAD AND ASSISTANT COACHES

For member schools, the clinics are located on the School Log-in Page. To access the clinic, log in to http://schools.khsaa.org and — under the section entitled Rules Clinics — click on the link entitled “View Online Rules Clinics“.

  • February 22 – April 13: the Clinic may be viewed by coaches at no charge during this period.
  • April 14 – May 3: the Clinic may be viewed by coaches for the late fee ($100) during this period.
  • May 4 – May 17: the Clinic may be viewed by coaches for the late fee ($200) during this period. After this time, postseason penalties per Bylaw 27 will apply.

CLINIC FOR LICENSED OFFICIALS

For officials, login to http://officials.khsaa.org and — under the section entitled Take Online Rules Clinics — click on the link entitled “View online Sports Rules Clinics for your sports”.

  • February 22 – April 12: the Clinic may be viewed by officials at no charge during this period.
  • April 13 – May 2: the Clinic may be viewed by officials for the late fee ($30) during this period.
  • May 3 – May 9: the Clinic may be viewed by officials for the late fee ($60) during this period. After this time, postseason penalties per Bylaw 27 will apply.

PROCEDURES FOR VIEWING CLINIC

  • The presentation can be viewed from any computer and is a web-based flash video product that should be viewable through any web browser. Once you advance to the last slide of the presentation, correspondence is automatically generated to the KHSAA so that you can receive credit. If the presentation is not completed, you will not receive credit.
  • Athletic Directors can check to see if their coaches have completed the clinic by going to the member school page and choosing the “maintain school admin personnel and coaches” link. Once the clinic is complete there will be a clinic completed notification next to the name of your coach. Athletic Directors, please be sure that your assistant coaches are aware of these clinic dates as well as your head coach.
  • Please make sure you log in. If you simply watch the public version without logging in, you will not receive credit for the clinic nor will you receive credit by logging in and using someone else’s login and password information. If you have forgotten your password, click the blue reset your password button and follow the directions. If you have any other issues, contact the KHSAA offices at 859-299-5472.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
