06/02/21 – Region 4AAA & Region 4A Meets Postponed to Friday

The KHSAA received notification today that the Region 4AAA meet that was scheduled to be held at Eastern High School this evening has been postponed to Friday, June 4 due to weather. Tentative plans have the unified field events beginning at 2:15 PM and 3:00 PM start for the meet. Please contact the meet manager Mike Horan  (michael.horan@jefferson.kyschools.us) for final meet details and if you have any additional questions. 

We have also received notification today that the Region 4A meet that was scheduled to be held at Bishop Brossart High School this evening has also been postponed to Friday, June 4 due to weather. Tentative plans are for a 5:00 PM start for the meet. Please contact the meet manager Chris Davis (cdavis@bishopbrossart.org) for final meet details and if you have any additional questions.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501(c)3 organization made up of 284 member schools both public and non-public. The KHSAA awards 215 state championships to 51 teams and 164 individuals in 13 sports and 6 sport-activities, funds catastrophic insurance coverage for its more than 106,000 rostered member school student-athletes, provides coaching education and sports safety programs for more than 12,000 coaches, and licenses and facilitates the distribution of training material for over 4,000 contest officials.
