State Championship Instructions and other pertinent information for the 2026 KHSAA State Track & Field Championships presented by UK HealthCare have been posted on the KHSAA website. The Championships will take place on May 21-23 at the University of Kentucky Track & Field Complex. You can view the state championship time schedule and instructions by clicking on the links below.

Several additional items are available for review on the Track & Field page of the KHSAA website, including parking maps and hotel contact information. The 2026 KHSAA Performance Lists and State Qualifiers will be distributed on Sunday, May 17, provided all regional meets are completed and results have been received.

Coaches and athletic directors with state qualifiers should plan to attend a Zoom web conference at 10:30 a.m. ET on May 18. Additional instructions regarding access to the meeting will be sent via email.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary, nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization composed of 291 member schools, both public and non-public. The KHSAA awards 229 state championships to 59 teams and 178 individuals in 13 sports and six sport-activities, funds catastrophic insurance coverage for its more than 109,000 rostered member school student-athletes, provides coaching education and sports safety programs for more than 12,000 coaches and licenses and facilitates the distribution of training material for over 4,000 contest officials.
