The field is set for the 2019 KHSAA State Track & Field Meets, to be held May 30 – June 1 at the University of Kentucky Track & Field Complex. The KHSAA website has been updated to reflect lane assignments, competitor numbers, etc. Please be sure to check under the 2019 State/Region Meet Entries/Results tab at the bottom of the track webpage. Important information for each respective class is posted.

Starting heights for High Jump and Pole Vault for each respective class have also been set for the State Meet. They are as follows:

A
Girls High Jump – 4’6″
Boys High Jump – 5’6″
Girls Pole Vault – 6’6″
Boys Pole Vault – 9’0″

AA
Girls High Jump – 4’8″
Boys High Jump – 5’8″
Girls Pole Vault – 7’0″
Boys Pole Vault – 10’6″

AAA
Girls High Jump – 4’8″
*Girls 3A high jump will utilize “five alive” until there are 20 jumpers remaining. 
Boys High Jump – 5’10”
Girls Pole Vault – 7’6″
Boys Pole Vault – 10’6″

The state meet time schedule and the team instructions outline a very small window in which the teams have to arrive and enter the facility. Please pay attention to times when the track will be open for teams and spectators.

Credentials for School Media (students or full-time staff members) or traditional media members must be requested in advance of the meet. Instructions for obtaining those credentials can be found in the State Meet instructions. Coaches, please be sure to communicate this information to your student-athletes and parents.
