The KHSAA wanted to update member schools on the details available for the postseason in Outdoor Track & Field.

REGION TRACK & FIELD

  • All 21 region dates and sites are set: REGIONAL MANAGERS
  • The region meet instructions are available for review.
  • Coaches should review prior to entering the regional meet (Track & Field begins on page 30): REGION INSTRUCTIONS
  • Region Meets: May 8 – May 16
  • All initial entries (including unified and adapted) for the region are due electronically (using Milesplit), no later than 9 p.m. four (4) days prior to the date of the regional meet. For instructions on entering UNIFIED/ADAPTED

STATE TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

  • The 2026 KHSAA State Track & Field Championships presented by UK HealthCare will return to the University of Kentucky on May 21-23
    • Class 1A will compete on May 21
    • Class 2A will compete on May 22
    • Class 3A will compete on May 23

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501(c)3 organization made up of 291 member schools, both public and non-public. The KHSAA awards 229 state championships to 59 teams and 178 individuals in 13 sports and six sport-activities, funds catastrophic insurance coverage for its more than 109,000 rostered member school student-athletes, provides coaching education and sports safety programs for more than 12,000 coaches and licenses and facilitates the distribution of training material for over 4,000 contest officials.
